I’m just starting to look into the draft.
At first glance, there’s three prospects that match the Eagle’s position value and have the prospects grades value for the #10 spot.
Edge Will Anderson OG Peter Skoronski DT Jalen Carter
Carter’s the highest graded of the bunch, but he showed up over weight out of shape and with a problem with the law recently. He would need to pass vetting to be worthy. I’m guessing he won’t pass.
Trader Howie would need to give up a low 2nd to get from 10 to 6, and would get a low 2nd to drop down to 16.
Skoronski projects to be a PB potential OG. Normally OG aren’t valued enough to garner. 10th pick.
Anderson would be my wish.
Need to hope the QBs get overdrafted and someone takes the RB Robinson. Then we’ll have a chance.
We’ll see.
Stay tuned.

Not sure about #10 but I'm expecting a trade down from #30 given the usefulness of the fifth year option.

Eyrie,
Are you saying there is not much value in the 5th year option?
Doesn’t the 5th year option save the team money vs a similar player drafted in the 2nd round who hits FA a year earlier?
Just trying to follow you on this.

The exact opposite.
The fifth year option adds value and Roseman will ensure we get good value from whichever team wants to have that option. So trading down from #30 makes sense for us as we can add a mid round pick which we need.

But trading down from #30 may not be as simple as I thought. BGN.

Interesting read.
Might be a year to just take BPA at our alotted picks & leave future picks alone.
