I have an accounting background too, which further shows me that everything you post is guided by blind hatred and nothing intellectually sound or curious.
Career politicians write the tax laws, and therefore know how to position their returns perfectly to look squeaky clean, while amassing vast fortunes via corruption. Actual businessmen of his stature have thousands of pages of returns every year, get audited every year, and he likely pays a team of people 7 figures a year to make he's compliant. If there was anything illegal in his tax returns it would've been found out decades ago - certainly some goon(s) in the IRS would've leaked something during his presidency. Again, you know this, you're just frothing at the mouth from hearing his name.
Let's say it all together, what the lame future holds - somewhere in his 50,000 pages of tax returns, there will be an investment here or a stock sale there in Lukoil, or some Russian company, or maybe a joint foreign investment with his daughter/son-in-law. The media will harp on it, the mob will go nuts, normal people won't care, intelligent people will know it's BS, and Mikey will post it on Wingheads demanding our condemnation while frothing at the mouth.

It would seem like the jobs of POTUS, Senator, Congressman, AG, etc. are important enough that there should be full disclosure, transparency and revelation of anyone who is seeking the office. As a young pup I had to go through an FBI background check because I had a full scholarship from the U.S. Army, and I'm irrelevant to everything and everyone I don't piss on. Employers these days do extensive background checks on potential employees. I'd guess candidates are investigated, but the people should know what the results are.
They all will have skeletons of some kind, so what? If we let the world know about them and their accomplishments maybe we can stop having candidates like Hillary and Joe. To Robbie's point though, that may have a way of diminishing the chance of candidates who are highly qualified yet haven't had their resume sterilized from birth.
And no, we couldn't trust the FBI to do the research. There would need to be a way to ensure complete, honest disclosure, maybe independent, third-party businesses. I have no idea how to do it, but the concept seems important.

LOL. The only frothing of the mouth I’m doing today is for the turkey I’m about to eat and for someone to kick Dallas as a little later. Happy Thanksgiving we’ll argue later in the week.

One, good point about the FBI.
I’ll roll the dice on a few qualified candidates to bow out in order to keep the plethora of bad candidates and leachers from running.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family.

Backatcha, Mike ... happy Thanksgiving, and to everyone here.
This will sound crazy because of the disdain we should all have for our media, but maybe they should be charged with investigating any and all candidates who run for public office ... at all levels. All media. Leftist, right wing and everything in between. Submit their findings to one designated compilation source and publish their results on a common website.
Fuck Dallas and the simple-ass announcers who can't stop blowing them.

Point being, before The Donald made that speech on an escalator in 2015, nobody gave a flying fuck about anything he ever did in the business world or his taxes. He set out to disrupt The System, and was therefore marked for death. A very simple concept that most reasonable people should understand by now.
