In Part 3 of "Why I don't gamble much," we're the last undefeated team in the league. Unbelievable. It's ok to get excited about this team.

Yes, it is very ok to be excited.
Impressive win.
Fingers crossed, Mailata and Slay are ok.

Ugly win but that's about what I expected with the weather and the situation. Just glad they found a way to win.

Sirianni's clock management at the end of the 1st half was almost perfect. I found myself saying 'hallelujah' after that.
I really didn't like his decision near the end of the game to go for it on 4th and 3. I know the winds were bad, but it's a 39-yarder to put the game away, and you have a Pro Bowl kicker. We gave them a shot to tie the game at the end. That's the kind of shit that will bite us against the best teams.

However, turns out, Elliot hurt his knee when they roughed him. That's a major concern going forward...

That game is sort of emblematic of the team so far this year. Not perfect, but talented enough, disciplined enough, dedicated enough and coached well enough to find a way to win games. This is fun, I hope it continues.
