Some very tight windows there.
Hurts is showing a lot of promise so far. If he keeps this up we've got our QB.

His deep ball last year was horrid. It looks like he's improved a lot. Now if we could only get him to stop scrambling into potential big hits.....

If you ask him to stop, you're more-likely to get him hurt. Also, people forget, he's built like a RB, not a QB. He can take hits. The ones to the head are the ones you worry about. But he's very good at avoiding them. I worry more about cheap shots. People need to realize, guys like Hurts are not the prototypical fragile QB. He's bigger than many RBs in the league. I don't worry about that as much as others.

Watkins was usually well covered and there was no plan b since Smith is not a speed guy. He had 5 balls over 40 yards...to put it in perspective, Allen had 8. I just like how he is throwing with poise and authority

Thanks for sharing Rumply. Great throws in tight coverage.
The thing that sticks out there is his quicker release and his confidence to throw in tight windows and across the middle of the field.
Great to see.

He just left the defenders in his wake. And he can elevate too. After the Detroit game I thought he'd be Brown's distant second but those two compliment each other really nicely.
