Now that the newly passed inflation bill has awarded your coffers with $80 Billion guaranteed over 10 years and allows you to hire 87,000 more examiners to make enough revenue in auditing our individuals and businesses to financially justify the deficit reduction claims of the bill’s spending spree, but only those who make over $400,000 per year, can you do me two favors?
1. Can you use some of these new hires to do the fucking work that your department is required to do, by processing returns for its citizens? How about processing the refunds of ten of my tax clients who prefer to file paper returns instead of e-file, and have waited since late February to mid March and NOT ONE, has received their 2021 refund yet?
2. Can you insist that your people get back to fucking work and report to their offices and answer the fucking phone? COVID excuse no longer applies. The real world has been back to work for years. Get back to work, you incompetent mother fuckers!!
Other than that, have a nice day.

You managed to spell HMRC wrong, but other than that everything you say about the competence of the tax authorities is correct.
In our case, the problems are exacerbated by understaffing.

It completely baffles me why so many people think that the bigger the government the better their life will be. I also don't understand why people who disagree with my politics and support those now in charge think that an intrusive bureaucracy they agree with can't or won't turn against them. Trust in your family and your God but never in the people who would control you.

Trust in your family and your God but never in the people who would control you. In the short term, because it's true. If you're a useless degenerate sitting on your couch, waiting for a govt. check, it's most definitely in your interests to keep voting for that, as opposed to having to actually provide for yourself. In your state, a career basement-dweller who can't speak in complete sentences anymore because he had a stroke is about to become your next Senator. This is why. Democracy always fails because stupid and irresponsible people will inevitably be able to outvote smart and responsible people. It's only a simple matter of when, and you can argue we've passed that point. If the Founders knew that everyone who survived to the age of 18 would have an equal say in how the country is run, they would've surrendered to the Brits and demanded their king back. And rightly so.

And rightly so. I suppose to an extent, you're right. Except the stupid, lazy people you're talking about don't understand that the choice isn't income vs. effort, it's freedom vs. tyranny. When the time arrives, hopefully well after my departure, when the stupid-lazies are herded and marched off to perform life-ending labor for the lazy elite it still won't be an enlightening moment for them because they're stupid and lazy and were ultimately responsible for empowering the lazy elite who herded and marched them. And it's not only the stupid-lazies, because there are an abundance of well-meaning smarties who are captured by theories that have no foundation in human reality. Unlike the stupid-lazies, the well-meaning smarties will see their mistake when it's too late and will share the real victimhood of the stupid-lazies. "Oh blah dee, oh blah da, life goes on, yeah, how the life goes on..."

"Oh blah dee, oh blah da, life goes on, yeah, how the life goes on..." I don't know if it will end up like that. The regime and their FBI are doing absolutely everything they can to jump-start a large reaction nationwide. It's honestly weird - I understand the thought process of trying to provoke violent attacks in response (in order to justify further tyrannical acts), but they're blatantly just raiding the Dems' political opponents in the most over-the-top ways possible. What a time to be alive.

Yeah, and notice the mainstream stupid lazies are telling the story completely differently. They completely eliminate that the "victim" got in his kid's face and was screaming obscene things about the kid's father.
