From Warren Sharp
There is no game worse than a road game on short rest.
But this year, the NFL increased the number of short week road games to 43, up from 28 in 2021.
Last year, no team had to play more than two short week road games.
This year, the Eagles play FOUR short week road games.
Week 3 at WAS off a week 2 MNF game Week 9 at HOU on a Thursday night week 11 at Indy off a week 10 MNF game week 16 at DAL on a Saturday afternoon after a Week 15 Sunday game.
How rare is this? No team in the last 16 years has played in four short week road games
This is half of their road games.
21 teams play zero,or one short week road game. Eagles play four. Five other teams play three five play two.
Fuckem.

At least we don't play the Seahawks.
For some reason the other day, the thought came into my head that I don't remember us ever beating them. I knew we had of course, at one point or another, but I specifically couldn't remember ever beating them. We all remember 42-0, but that was a long time ago (anytime your leading receiver is LJ Smith, you're fucked).
For shits and giggles I looked it up. We're 7-12 against them all time, but 1-9 in the last 10 times we played them. The last win was in '08, 7 losses in a row.
I don't think any other team has owned us this bad in recent history. We have horrible historical records against the Packers/Bears/Browns, but that's mostly from the pre-SB era.
At least our perfect 12-0 against the Jets will stay intact for another year. And that's 100% guaranteed, because we ain't meeting in the Super Bowl.
