Firstly, I'm not a fan of having an early bye in week 7 and would much prefer it in week 10 or 11 to give the players some rest after they've accumulated the inevitable wear and tear.
Secondly, now that we know the schedule, here's my guess at how the season will go.
Week 1: Sunday, September 11 at Detroit Lions at 1 PM - EAGLES WIN
Week 2: Monday, September 19 vs. Minnesota Vikings at 8:30 PM - EAGLES WIN
Week 3: Sunday, September 25 at Washington Commanders at 1 PM - Eagles edge
Week 4: Sunday, October 2 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 PM - EAGLES WIN
Week 5: Sunday, October 9 at Arizona Cardinals at 4:25 PM - Cardinals edge
Week 6: Sunday, October 16 vs. Dallas Cowboys at 8:20 PM - Eagles edge
Week 7: Bye Week
Week 8: Sunday, October 30 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 PM - Eagles edge
Week 9: Thursday, November 3 at Houston Texans at 8:15 PM - EAGLES WIN
Week 10: Monday, November 14 vs. Washington Commanders at 8:15 PM - EAGLES WIN
Week 11: Sunday, November 20 at Indianapolis Colts at 1 PM - Colts edge
Week 12: Sunday, November 27 vs. Green Bay Packers at 8:20 PM - Packers win
Week 13: Sunday, December 4 vs. Tennessee Titans at 1 PM - Titans edge
Week 14: Sunday, December 11 at New York Giants at 1 PM - Eagles edge
Week 15: Sunday, December 18 at Chicago Bears at 1 PM - EAGLES WIN
Week 16: Saturday, December 24 at Dallas Cowboys at 4:25 PM - Cowboys win
Week 17: Sunday, January 1 vs. New Orleans Saints at 1 PM - Eagles edge
Week 18: Saturday, January 7 or Sunday, January 8 vs. New York Giants, Time TBD - EAGLES WIN
So that's 7 wins, 5 where I'd lean to us, 3 where I lean to our opponent and 2 where I expect a loss.
Of course, it won't work out exactly that way, so I'll say our record in each group will be 6-1, 3-2, 1-2 and 0-2 for an overall 10-7. May not be enough to get the division, but will get us a wild card where we'll be one and done again.
Thoughts? In detail or just overall.
