That clear non call with 1:40 to go that effectively would have won them the game was beautiful, terrible by the refs, but beautiful .. Gotta love Karma.
Pissed at the result of the other game, but for a silly late penalty it could have all been very different, though seeing Belichick losing it and destroying that tablet when things weren't going his way was humorous.
Hard to see Rams winning at the big dance but then .. you never know, seem to remember something similar being said last year.

I'm just sick of all the McVay hype and still pissed that he was Coach of the Year over Pederson. That said, I'd rather him win than the Pats because I'm more sick of their hype. If the Rams win though, be prepared for the youngest NFL coach being touted as the best ever.

The jerk should be pointing his finger at himself anyway. If he ran the ball three times instead of being a hero throwing the ball all over the place because he's smarter than everybody else he'd be in the SB and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I saw another video that came out of Ingram screaming BYE! at the camera right after beating us, followed by him almost crying in the locker room after the Rams loss. I couldn't get that video to upload, but here is a couple minutes of poor Marky suffering after an absolutely deliciously terrible call cost those assholes a Super Bowl berth. In all likelihood he'll never come close to sniffing a SB appearance ever again; the Saints won't bring him back unless he accepts peanuts, and I can't think of contenders that would want him. Enjoy.
BYE!

Like everything else in America these days the Saint fans want the Super Bowl winner decided in court. Angry Saints fans file lawsuits, put up billboards in AtlantaJan 22 1/22/2019 12:30:18 PM | More After a stunning missed call by officials helped to keep the Saints out of the Super Bowl, jilted fans have been reacting in various ways -- from lawsuits and petitions to billboards in Atlanta and boycotts throughout the New Orleans area, Mike Triplett of ESPN reports. At least two lawsuits have already been filed by local attorneys on behalf of Saints fans who want to compel NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to use his power under the NFL rulebook to replay the final 1:49 of regulation of New Orleans' overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Sunday's NFC Championship Game. Meanwhile, Saints fan Matt Bowers has rented billboards in and around the Atlanta area -- where Super Bowl LIII is being held -- to voice his displeasure with the league. "And I'm not done yet," Bowers, who owns car dealerships throughout the Southeast, said. "I'm going to do my best to bring as much attention to this as possible -- and I'm not going to stop until i make them miserable." Fans (and some Saints players) clamoring for a rematch have pointed to an obscure NFL rule: According to Rule 17, Section 2, Article 1, which deals with "Extraordinarily Unfair Acts." According to the rule, the NFL commissioner has the "sole authority to investigate and take appropriate disciplinary and/or corrective measures if any club action, non-participant interference, or calamity occurs in an NFL game which the Commissioner deems so extraordinarily unfair or outside the accepted tactics encountered in professional football that such action has a major effect on the result of the game." However, Article 2 also states that, "The Commissioner will not apply authority in cases of complaints by clubs concerning judgmental errors or routine errors of omission by game officials. Games involving such complaints will continue to stand as completed." So now the question becomes, are Saints fans whinier than Vikings fans? Actually, yeah. One of my college friends is a Vikings fan. He's convinced that the NFCCG against the Eagles was rigged so the NFL didn't lose money. When I point out that the game was 38-7 and they were only there bc of a miracle fuckup by the Saints, he gets angry and goes silent. But the Saints fans' reaction makes them even worse.
