I agree, but your link isn't working for me, 60. I don't know why the article isn't coming up. Basically it said that they were targeting Cox on the fake field goal because he's not that good and the film shows that he takes plays off on the punt returns. Then they show a picture of the play and 3 guys are assigned to block him and he pretty much stuffs all 3 of them LOL! He had a few more wisecracks about us too. What a punk. |

I've seen that narrative in a few places, and it appears to be a cocky jerk explaining his brilliance and lazy journalism. Peyton is a douche. That isn't new. His window for another SB is all but shut. He's got a decent defense, and enough offensive weapons for a HOF QB, but not a regular one. Brees is small and old. The tape holding their ship together is starting to come off.
I think that explains a lot of their hate towards us, too. We're poised to be a contender for a while. It seems like boring old bitterness and jealousy to me. Oh well.

After the way those classless assholes acted, I would've rooted for the Pats to beat them in the SB. That's how much they pissed me off. Especially Kamara and Ingram. They acted like we were hated, bitter rivals and not the 9-7 team they ran the score up on earlier in the year. Payton is down to using Taysom Hill to keep his offense fresh, and he's little more than a boring version of Tebow. This was their last year of real contention and their best chance to win a SB in a decade. Maybe he'll go back to bounties. |
