DJax has already missed a quarter of the season, we could really use his the next three games...

I hope the rumors of him having a sports hernia are false. That would suck.
Hope he is healthy next week and ready to go.

We had two attempts with Agholor today, and neither succeeded. To be fair, there should have been an illegal contact flag on the first one but that's not reviewable.

That's why you should be able to challenge any penalty.
Instead of ruling no PI because the ball was in the QB hand, they could have challenged the illegal contact and gotten the first down .
They are really making themselves look bad.

To be honest, the first was definitely a penalty and what caused the throw to be slightly long. The second one, Wentz was hit as he released the ball. But yeah, we need Djax back, he really helps open things up. Hoping he's back this week...

I heard an interesting bit on the bleeding green nation podcast about how Doug has shifted this offense into a run-first style. With the loss of Jackson, we have no true deep threat and the rest of the league is well aware. What if Doug is pushing the run in the early part of the season so that the league will get accustomed to seeing it and come to expect it. Then later in the season when Jackson is back and healthy, we shift back into the pass when teams are stacking the box and burn them. It almost makes too much sense. Thoughts?

It makes sense to run the ball because, well, they are good at running the ball. No other reason needed. If they had run the ball against Atlanta, I still believe they win that game easily. They also gave up on the run against Detroit. When you have an offensive line that can do what they can do, AND you have 3 VERY good RBs to hand the ball off to, you run the damn ball! Then--and I know this may be a stretch for some of the offensive coaches to understand--you pull out a play action in certain situations (maybe like a 3rd and short when you know you're going for it on 4th if you don't make it?) to burn people because they'll put like 50 people on the line to stop them.
