Tough loss.
Great game. Game of inches, indeed.

Agholar drops that Wide open sideline pass that was for a TD with 1:30 left in the game.
That was the death knell.
Our O Line sucked tonight.
Wentz was getting killed and we couldn't generate three yards per carry.
And all those pregame and real early in the game injuries really hampered our offense.

51 pass plays called. 21 runs called Game never out of reach Against a team that got pounded on the ground last week With three receivers out.
51 to fucking 21.
Somewhere Andy Reid has a twinkle in his eye that his student has learned the trick of the trade well.
I'm embarrassed for that play calling.

I'd add to that analysis that it looked like Thorson and not Wentz under centre in the first half. Two weeks running he's started slowly.
Can't believe we got so close to winning a game where we managed to combine poor play and so many injuries, albeit the two are not unrelated.
Next week is looking like a must win game if we're to keep pace with the Cowboys and avoiding hurting our NFC-record tie breaker.

Wentz' struggles in the first half was from the shot he took to the ribs. He was in significant pain and was having trouble extending - there was a replay that perfectly illustrated the pain he was going through where he sidestepped after a throw, shielding his ribs with his left hand expecting a hit that didn't come, with an obvious wince on his face.
He must have gotten some treatment in the locker room, because he started balling again without any hesitation after that.
As far as running the ball - they were trying with little success. I saw nothing wrong with the play-calling in the second half. They clawed their way back while severely handicapped, and on account of one dropped pass, this would have been nothing short of a heroic comeback we'd talk about to our grandchildren.
We just need our weapons back and the second half team to occasionally show up in the first half.

It's time for Groh to go. It seems he cannot gameplan to start a game. This BS of watching them come out and suck ass in the first quarter to first half has really grown old. Hard to keep winning when you're spotting the other team 7, 10, 14, 17 points before you even get on the board. Maybe they need to throw out that script to start the game and start over. And I'm just ask sick of watching the defense come out and lay and egg at the start of the game. It seems they always give up a long drive and points to start the game. Where is the intensity coming out to start the game? If they hadn't have started so badly, maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't have lost that game.
