The problem with our CBs is that none of them are elite, yet all of them are decent so it's difficult to work out who should be playing.
I'd like an elite CB to emerge or be acquired. I'm not convinced that Fitzpatrick only needs a change of scenery to be that player.

From what I've heard Miami wants a one "plus" some additional resources. I'd pretty gladly give up a two and a throw in player or a late round pick, but their current asking price is pretty high.
I'd have to think pretty hard about just sucking it up and giving up the one though. He would be a great fit at an area of need, and he can play multiple positions. Plus, they can then cut Sendejo and potentially preserve a fourth round comp pick.

They ain't going anywhere this year and maybe next, and just lost what will likely have been a pick in the top half of the first round. (although its a relief that Jerry didn't get him since his main strength is slot corner and we don't need a slot corner) |

I live in Jacksonville and he's always spracking off at the mouth about something. Now he's trying to pull an AB and get traded (kicked out). Not sure that is so good for the locker room. I heard the Eagles are looking into him. If they met with him--and he seemed like he is going to change his ways--then yes, I'd say give up something for him. However, I don't think brining in a guy who is all about himself and not the team is the right fit in Philly. |
