what if Kessler has a ten day concussion protocol?
then we have him all next week and another week of no evaluation

That first drive I saw was fairly flawless, 94 yards, convert a 4th for a td, looked a very different player to the one we saw last week. Doug Pederson the QB whisperer!

Was at the game last night. Must say, when Kessler went down we were like, "Oh great..." Thorson looked HORRIBLE the first series. Not much better for a bit after that. Then he seemed to settle down--and the offensive line gave him a little time--and he looked reasonable. Made a couple of really good throws but was late on some and made a few bad throws. Better than last week for sure.
The Eagles are stacked at RB. I realize they were playing the Jags and they have no depth on defense but they seemed faster than the defense all night.
Was impressed with the Eagles defense--especially when the nonames were playing. For the most part, good coverage and kept pressure on the QB. Tackling was (overall) good but maybe not great.
The kid they had back for punt returns needs to learn to be a little more aggressive. He was letting too many drop when he could have caught the ball and maybe saved some field position. Good news is, with Sproles and Jackson, I think they're good for punt returns.
Adams looks good but I'm thinking he may be one of the odd men out with so much talent at RB.
Good showing by Eagles fans--as usual--here in Jax. Even had a few we met who came down for the game from the Philly area.
Anyway, looking forward to being in Philly on the 8th for the opener then in Atlanta for Week 2. Also planning on being in Miami in December. If the season is going as I'm thinking it may, will probably come up for the Patriots game as well.

We're going to need another QB for the Ravens game unless Kessler passes the concussion tests.
And Thorson has an excellent opportunity to earn himself a spot on our roster as a back up. Up to him to take it.

Interestingly enough, the Eagles have two good division 1 QBs on their WR corps.
Greg Ward and Braxton Miller were both good QBs for big time college programs.
