I know he hasn't quite lived up to his #1 pick status, but he has a lot of talent and has shown flashes of brilliance before. If we can get him for pretty cheap, I say sign him and that'll give us a nice insurance policy for Wentz. With these weapons he could end up being great here.
Thoughts?

Never been a Sleeves fan, but desperate times make for strange bed fellows.
Slightly over Vet minimum in a back up role is fine by me.
Cut Thorson, and cut Kessler if he's not happy with the move and wait for someone to try and stash a QB on a PS and snatch them up as our #3. or maybe you can give up a bottom of the roster guy or 7th round pick for aa better #3.
Thorson must go.

Hasn't lived up to his #1 status!!?? That's putting it very kindly. He's not done a damn thing in this league and has made, what, like $100million?
No, don't want that fraud here again. If Wentz goes down, Bradford isn't going to Nick Foles anyone. Season is over. I'd rather watch Sudfeld play--and fail--than giving that fraud another dime of Eagles' money just to watch him suck again.
Bradford has never proved he can win games with any frequency. So why bring him in? He also has had a LONG history of injury. So why bring a QB with a long history of sucking and getting hurt?
No just NO.

I posted this just to troll you, and you didn't disappoint. On a serious note, any veteran QB we can get for dirt cheap would be fine with me, someone who can dink and dunk his way to victory. I wouldn't care if they signed Bradford or anyone else. As far as I'm concerned, if Wentz goes down we play for the draft pick anyway.

And that is the point. So why bring in a guy like Bradford who has plenty of time in the NFL to show he can't win with any regularity? Why bring in a guy who, reports said, wasn't really happy being in Philly to begin with?

I didn't hear he wasn't happy here, other than he wasn't thrilled with them picking a QB so high.
If he isn't, then the heck with him.

He had a good year here in 2015, and won a lot of us over, myself included. He got an extension, and obviously thought he was getting his chance to really prove himself.....then we trade up to get Wentz. I'd be pissed too. Especially when the offense at that time could've really used a high pick on a WR or RB. Now here we are with a ring from our last backup (why Bradford was here to begin with), and now we need another backup.

lol I am in the opposite camp....let Sam going quietly into retirement. He could have been a good one but he had the misfortune of who drafted him. Look at Foles there. Sammy's misfortune was balanced by a lot of money. Sadly his legacy will always be one of what could have been.
