When was the last time the Browns were projected to be in the playoffs preseason? The last time they made the playoffs I was in college. I think the Saints will drop off from last year, otherwise I can't argue with much. The Packers/Vikings/Bears are always tough to predict because they'll knock each other off, and GB is always dangerous.
I'm a bit torn - do I root for Tyreek Hill to break his neck in the first preseason game, and the Chiefs to go 3-13? Or do I savor that fat fuck winning 10-11 games, only to lose yet again on the biggest stage in sports to the Evil Empire? If this is Goodell's way of giving Andy a leg up this year, they sure did a hell of a bad job on PR. What a horrific collection of scumbags who run this league.

Yeah, Andy has sunk to a new low.
After he says a few words on it, he has the balls to say that he wasn't taking questions on it.
And the chicken shit KC press just fall in line and don't question the imperial hypocrite.
Maybe he can find a team HOF kicker to throw under the bus the day after the kicker finds out his daughter is extremely sick.

The Philly sports media has an oft-deserved horrible reputation, but this is one time you need a Howard Eskin/Mike Missanelli out there not taking this bullshit. Yeah, maybe there isn't enough evidence to convict him in a court of law of a specific crime, but it's pretty obvious he regularly beats his 3-year old son, and has no qualms about hitting his wife. I've long debated with football fans our unrealistic expectations of the 'people' side of our favorite players. In reality, most of them are probably people you don't anywhere near your neighborhood. I'm willing to allow plenty from Eagles players, provided they don't get caught doing something blatantly bad. But this? Horrible. |

I'm not sold on Cleveland. A lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon of a team who only just last year crawled out of what seemed an eternal cellar, and they don't even have the coach that led them out of there anymore. I'm not saying it can't happen, but they're gonna have to prove it.

If Mayfield stays healthy I actually think they're legit, though they won't have the playoff experience to make it through January. |
