Haven't been this optimistic since TO's arrival.
Early on, I took the Eagles over 9.5. What could go wrong???

Early on, I took the Eagles over 9.5. What could go wrong??? Wentz could get injured again..... If he stays healthy I think we're one of the best teams in the league. If he goes down, we're absolute toast. I wouldn't touch the 9.5 either way because of the injury wild card. Easily we get 10+ wins if he's healthy, if he goes down in week 4 we might as well play for the #1 pick. I like DP a lot, and he's already been a success story as a coach no matter what else happens. He has Reid-esque tendencies like forgetting he has running backs for long stretches, but the pros outweigh the cons. I'd be fine calling him #1 coach in the league for beating Belichick in the SB. |

I'm predicting--if they stay healthy (not just Wentz)--they go 13-3 and Wentz wins MVP. Actually put down a few bucks on them in Vegas earlier this week when I was out there. Got 15-1, was more previously but others had them 13-1 and I even saw a 10-1 (at The Linq). Best part, one of my customers is a vaGiants' fan. He bet me the vaGiants will have a better record at the end of the season than the Eagles. He happened to bet me what I put down on the Eagles. So, unless there is a HUGE miracle for the vaGiants, AND the Eagles have the worse season in a loooooong time, I should be safe.  |
