Watching Phillies-Mets this year is like watching 2 talented teams being completely mismanaged by Moe and Curly Howard. Fortunately, we have Moe - the Mets are the only team we routinely spank.
But even in victory, it's impossible to not notice just how horrible our manager is.
-What exactly do the Mets have to do to Rhys Hoskins before our idiot manager has one of them drilled. Do they have to break into his house and poison his food?
-Speaking of which, rookie McNeil is batting over .400 against us this year. How about a couple pitches up and in?
-What exactly does Nola have to do to stay in the fucking game past the 6th? Maybe if he's working on a perfect game?
-And when you take out Nola to bring in a LHP for McNeil, why is there no RHP warming up for Alonso? Even Kruk can't avoid calling him out for this.
-Why in the blue FUCK was Neris in there for the 9th?!?!? Why?!?!?
I determined 10 years ago that we would never win with Andy Reid, and had heated arguments with dozens of fans over that time period - I've clearly been vindicated. It's clear as day, we're never winning shit with Gabe Kapler.
