I don't think any of us will be surprised that NFL players use cannabis, or that they know how to avoid a positive test.

I would wager over 50% use it regularly, especially in the off-season.

Eagles players have been customers for years. These guys would smoke the wacky weed in front of my men in the middle of the day often.
Sometimes there would be 3 or 4 firing up of them in a players house at a time .
I think it was Mike Patterson who got in trouble for it shortly after my guys saw him with other lineman toking away in one of their houses years ago. If I remember correctly, he got pulled over and had some on him at the time.
If these guys are lighting up in front of strangers in broad day light while having other players in their presence, and they don't test hot, you know they knew exactly when those tests were!

There's been controversy over NBA players admitting that they got high before the game, and that many of their teammates did as well. Read this article about Stephen Jackson admitting it, watch the enclosed video, and I dare you not to laugh. link-I guess he didn't toke up before 'Malice in the Palace.' Because of the nature of the sport, I couldn't possibly imagine football players getting away with being stoned during a game - but I wouldn't be shocked if they all go out and get blasted together each Sunday night. I'd be shocked if they didn't. |
