And games like tonight are why Gabe Kapler has absolutely no business managing above high school ball.
Unbelievable.

It is amazing how four relievers were unavailable last night.
A sad state of babying and low expectations.

Our obvious closer, Neris, with an ERA of 1.77, threw 11 pitches on May 20th - gasp! He's unavailable for the 21st!
Analytics and pitch count bullshit are killing this game - and combined with a completely incompetent manager, it'll kill this team's chances when it counts.
Giving the 3-0 green light to Franco? Winning run on 2nd, man on 3rd, 0 outs in the bottom of the 9th, and you pitch to the next hitter? Using Nicasio in anything other than an inning-eating blowout?
We can debate all day long about Brett Brown, but Krapler is absolutely a liability in the dugout.
