They say, because of how free agents signed cancel out free agents lost, that signing both Sendejo and Fort ended up costing us a 4th round comp pick next year, the way it looks currently.
There has been a lot of talk about us cutting either Fort or Sendejo, to regain that 4th round comp pick.
What if we cut one of those guys tomorrow, but then sign them back after the May 7th deadline?
Does anyone know if we would regain that comp pick?

I'd assume that there will be an anti-abuse measure so that any player cut couldn't be brought back immediately.
Interesting question though, especially given yesterday's coincidental additions of a LB and S.

That's good stuff and good to know.
If it comes to them waiving him, wanting him in a lesser role, they could always give him a few extra dollars when he comes back if they are so inclined.
At 1.3M they have room to do that.
