A solid vet LB, cut early by the Skins for cap reasons who won't affect compensatory picks. 1 year 3M, not bad and it fills the hole at LB for this year. As far as the safety situation, I think they ought to look at Rasul, he can cover, tackles well, and has a nose for the ball. He may not have the speed to play outside CB, but his skill set could make him the kind of safety Schwartz likes.

I was surprised that we didn't address LB during the draft, but this looks to be a very good move.

On the surface, I like this move a lot.
His PFF stats are third best LB in the league good, which is a steal.
I do have some concern over his inability to stick on teams despite good "on paper" numbers. Also, when he has been available, it has taken teams a while to sign him.
For one year, three million, it's not that risky a move.
