But I like the investment in the future. Not to mention JP is likely to miss at least 3 or 4 games and at least a series in 3 or 4 more.
We’ve got great depth at OT this year and solid starters next year when JP retires and Big V is gone.

3 year starter who needs to learn to run block, but if u ask me, run blocking is easier than pass protection. Suggests that either V or Mailotta not impressing them, should know by final cut which one is on the outs.

With Vaitai in the final year of his contract, I'd be open to trading him. Starting level Ts are valuable, and whilst Vaitai isn't an elite like Peters or Johnson, he's still a solid player.
