I can't see him bringing much of a return, and if we were willing to move on then I wish we'd kept Matthews for a year.

I saw this as well. I also think it may be difficult to get much in return knowing the $9.4 million he's slated to make this season. Unless someone comes and also reworks his contract as I don't believe he'll get $9.4 million from anyone as it stands now. And, will he want a reworked contract for less money?
