Since I happen to have a subscription to Pro Football Focus, I like to share PFF rankings of our players for others to see. There are a few surprises, but most are about where I thought they would be. The starters and significant part timers who had enough snaps are ranked by percentile rank. 100 is the league best, 0 is the league worst. Although we have that bad taste after the collapse, these are based on the entire season.
OT Mailata 96 (3rd of 81) DT Carter 96 (5th of 130) WR Brown 93 (9th of 128)
DE Graham 87 (15/112) OT Johnson 84 (13/81) DT Cox 84 (21/130) OC Kelce 83 (6/36) S Blankenship 80 (19/95) QB Hurts 79 (8/38) OG Dickerson 78 (17/79) TE Goedert 78 (16/72) S Byard 77 (22/95) DT Davis 77 (30/130) DT Williams 76 (32/130) WR Smith 75 (32/128)
DE Reddick 62 (43/112) OG Jurgens 61 (31/79) LB Morrow 58 (35/82) CB Slay 56 (56/127) LB Cunningham 54 (38/82) DE Sweat 50 (56/112)
LB Leonard 33 (55/82) S Brown 31 (66/95) WR Watkins 27 (93/128) CB Roby 26 (94/127)
OG Opeta 25 (59/79) RB Swift 25 (45/60) CB Bradbury 21 (100/127) TE Stoll 18 (59/72)
CB Ricks 4 (122/127) RB Gainwell 3 (58/60)
Interestingly, if you separate the 25 most used players by position group and do the group average, here's what you get:
1. O-Line 5 players = 80 average percentile 2. Quarterback 1 player = 79 3. D-Line 4 players = 73 4. WR 3 players = 65 5. S 3 players = 63 6. LB 2 players = 56 7. TE 2 players = 48 8. CB 3 players = 34 9. RB 2 players = 14
On the RB, we all knew Gainwell struggled, but Swift's low rank is a surprise. I wonder how the coaches see it.

Do they include their methodology? I would be interested to see that. I don't disagree with a whole lot, clearly our collapse hurt Hurts and others. Most notable ones are Slay (correctly) getting dissed. He's completely overrated. And Swift - 25?! Really? The '24 Madden ratings are out, it's always fun to check those out. www.ea.com/games/madden-nfl/player-ratings/player-filter/player-team/13I haven't played in like 15 years, but players in the 90's are superstars. 95+ is basically an unstoppable player. 80's players are all over the place, really 85 and up means you're excellent. The 70's is where you start to have issues, and players in the low 70's and 60's noticeably suck on the field. I'll post our 90's and 80's: 96 Johnson 95 Brown 92 Kelce 91 Slay (rolls eyes) 90 Byard (did anyone at EA Sports watch the games this year?) 88 D. Smith 88 Mailata 87 Hurts 86 Goedert 86 Reddick 85 Swift 83 Elliott 82 Cox 82 Dickerson 81 Graham 81 Carter 81 Bradberry 81 Sweat Several of those guys are on their last legs, we have some big spots to fill soon. Further, I would call Lane Johnson one of the top-5 draft picks in Eagles history. No household name, no recognition outside of Philly, he's just showed up every single game and been the best in the business for 10 years.

I was never into Madden but I know their ratings are well respected.
Some differences between the two.

I was never into Madden but I know their ratings are well respected. Some differences between the two. Meeeehhh. Sort of. Their ratings are usually pretty solid, but also a lot based on hype. I specifically remember Jason Sehorn getting a 99 one year. Favre (who's balls were tongued by Madden on a weekly basis) was always in the mid-to-high 90's. I looked up 2002 Madden ratings, Brian Dawkins had a rating of 89 - for perspective when looking at Slay's and Byers's insane 90+ ratings. McNabb was an 90 which was fair, remember getting into the 90's was a big deal and he just came off an MVP caliber season. Vincent was an 88. Taylor/Staley/Akers were 82/81/79, pretty low. Todd Pinkston was a 70 lolz. Do you have any info on the methodology used your post's ratings?

Meh. Another week or so of the pop slut celebrating, and we can go back to normal.
I just want to point out that Andy Reid was absolutely terrible last night. Further proof that the greatest thing he ever did was draft Mahomes. I'm starting to think that Rich Kotite could win a SB with Mahomes.

Kelce's behaviour toward Reid was something else, I like the guy off the field but, great player that he is, he is a complete fuckhead on it.

Kelce's behaviour toward Reid was something else, I like the guy off the field but, great player that he is, he is a complete fuckhead on it. He's a total punk. But hey, why not if Andy allows it? I don't think I've ever seen that before, a player bumping a HC while screaming in his face. Andy has def learned from his time here. He'll let a woman/child beater play rather than risk losing a ring, same thing when he gets bumped by a star TE. Remember the 2009 NFCCG? That disgusting 8 minute drive, while Lito Sheppard was sitting on the sidelines for some goddam reason? He clearly did something to piss Reid off. And Quintin Demps (his replacement) whiffed on a crucial 3rd down tackle. Yeah, Andy won't be making that mistake again. It kills me how many Eagles fans root for the guy.
