Still can't understand what our coaching staff is doing, but that's probably why I'm here on my couch and they're getting paid the big bucks.
Doesn't help that I re-looked the details on Rashaad Penny's deal. Can't hate the man for making over half a million for 3 carries and a catch, but I will absolutely shit on the front office for not playing him over Gainwell.
Still optimistic we turn this around, but at this point I'll take an L with AJ getting this record and we go into the bye healthy.

Fuck it. I understand the success rate we've had with the brotherly shove, but why use it on 1st and goal when you have multiple opportunities to score before resorting to it?
I'm accepting this L and hoping the staff gets their shit together for Dallass week.

Every week this team demonstrates that it is not a Super Bowl caliber team. I know what their record is but they are simply a sloppy and inconsistent team.
They just tied it up as I am writing this and they will probably win this game but until they can get the turnovers under control, I will continue to doubt them.

Every week this team demonstrates that it is not a Super Bowl caliber team. I know what their record is but they are simply a sloppy and inconsistent team. They just tied it up as I am writing this and they will probably win this game but until they can get the turnovers under control, I will continue to doubt them. That's what happens when you lose both your offensive AND defensive coordinators. Personally, I'm more disappointed in Johnson than I am with Desai, both they've both been hella underwhelming. Losing Steichen was obviously the bigger loss than losing Gannon, but I didn't think it would be THIS bad considering the talent on both sides of the ball. |

If me shitting on the team in the chat is what it takes get the dub, I'll be that guy. Not as close as the OT game but still way too close for comfort. Glad we were able to get both the W and AJ his record.
Made a mistake in the schedule earlier and we play Dallass before the bye not after. Feels like we need a perfect game on all aspects to beat them which is a little sad because I feel like they're not our biggest threat to the 1 seed but 1 more W before the bye will definitely help secure it.

This defense cannot do anything to stop quick passes and they do not get a lot of turnovers. The offense has been turning the ball over with regularity. The Eagles will have to solve these issues if they want to beat Dallas next week. |

Just remember there is another team on the field to contend with. I think the Redskirts played a pretty good game and are better than their record indicates, and getting better.

If it was only the Redskins. We are minus 3 on the season in turnover differential. There has only been 6 teams to win the SB with a negative turnover differential. They have to get this fixed. Based on last season, I think they can get this sorted. The biggest problem is the inability of the defense to get off of the field. They had the same problem last year but managed to get to the SB where again, they could not get off of the field. This has to be sorted to get back to the SB but I just do not see it happening. We will know more after these next 5 games. |

We look sloppy, and still pull it off because we're the better team. It will bite us eventually in the playoffs, but the silver lining is all the other "best" teams in the league look like absolute shit sometimes too.
There's something weird about the game this year. I place small bets each week and follow the betting lines closely. The point totals (over/unders) are lower than I've ever seen before. So many ugly, offensively challenged games. It's weird, as I don't see any real obvious reason for it. The Broncos gave up 70 points to the Dolphins. They're about to hold the Chiefs to 9. Our less-than-stellar D held them the Dolphins to 17.
The actual stats show teams scoring almost exactly the same on average per game as last year, though 2021 and before more points were scored. It just feels like a much uglier, lower offense game this year. And not because of great defense, which would be fine because it's fun watching great defense. Just crappy offense.

Detroit, Seattle, and Dallas are closest in the NFC at 1.5 games back. They can push Dallas back a little farther next week.  |

This OC is going to cost this team. I cannot understand why they REFUSE to run the ball. I get it, sometimes they stack the box, etc. However, you have ROAD GRADERS as offensive linemen. Run the ball early, wear them down, then, when you have that lead in the 4th Quarter, you can run all over them. Unless of course, you have a 2 score lead, with the ball and you just pass, pass, pass, not making them use their timeouts. Of course, they give up a quick score then we have to hope to recover an onside kick.
And I'm done with Gainwell. Stop putting him in when you're in the red zone. You take out your BEST running back and put him in.
They have the horses but man, they are going to lose to the better teams if they keep going away from the run...
