A good friend of mine is a Rams season tix holder and has four season tickets. In CA, season ticket holders for that stadium is public information.
He lives in LA suburb but works outside of SF, and is actually bringing his Ram fan brother and two SF work friends.
Anyhow, he’s been offered $10,000 a ticket for this game. He said SF is where the money is and other season tix holders have been offered similar deals so expect a heavy SF contingent there.

When have you watched a Rams' game in LA and found the home fans as loud/louder than the visiting team?

He claims it was 50-50 last SF game and 90-10 ARI game, but the SF game sounded like 60-40 SF to me

I should know this but who is the moderator for this site? Can I request they change the name of this thread to something like 'Offseason ramblings'? Just so I have somewhere to post random stuff I come across.

So looks like Wentz is done in Indy. Got to hand it to Howie, getting what turned out to be a 1st & a 3rd for that train wreck was some very tidy business.

People giving Howie credit for trading away a player with a shit contract that HOWIE signed him to! I mean, when you fuck up, you don't get credit for fixing the fuck up!

I don't think so, he did look like the real deal at that time.

I'll own up to be pleased that we got Wentz done as there were several good young QBs ready for their second contract at the time and getting him over the line first looked like a good move from both a playing and contractual viewpoint as the subsequent deals were higher.
Wentz was his own downfall, as his reunion with Reich looks like confirming.
I'm more concerned about some of Roseman's draft decisions, although 2021 looks to be a good year for us.

Yeah Howie & those 3 firsts is a scary proposition. If they are to continue with Hurts, they must nail those 3 picks although I'll be amazed if one isn't traded for a future 1st.

Sorry, you don't get credit for fixing your own fuck up like that. I mean, if I cheated on my wife, but--after being caught--I, "cleaned up the mess," I'm not getting credit for fixing it.

This is a good draft class for fortifying the trenches, so this could be a golden opportunity to do that in a meaningful way.

If only we had people drafting who didn't want to always go with the unknown player to try and get one over on everyone...

Lol, that's hardly a relevant comparison. They signed a player who looked like he was the franchise future to long term deal & it didn't pan out. Maybe they should have seen what was coming but that looks like a big 'maybe'. & my fairly clear recollection is most were happy with the move but of course there will always be some who disagree & the usual pack of hindsight warriors. But at the time the majority of fans & pundits agreed with the move. Anyway I'm not here to defend Howie, he should have been sacked a year ago but I can acknowledge when someone does good & he did a very good job in disposing of Wentz, a player who in all likelihood will be a backup somewhere next season or at best starting for some shit show like the Texans.

You're missing my point. I didn't say it wasn't a good thing to trade Wentz. I'm saying he fucked up signing him to a long-term contract before he had to. Just like he did with other players. Plenty of people thought this at the time. I'm not saying I was one of them. Now, whether the majority of people believed it was right or not (at the time) has nothing to do with it. He was wrong...again....and he's been wrong...again...multiple times after that. So no, I don't give him credit for correcting his mistake, especially when he has a history of the same exact mistake with other players.
